CoEnzymes

CoEnzymes PDF Print E-mail

A coenzyme is an organic non-protein molecule that is a functional part of an enzyme. Coenzymes are generally defined as cofactors that are organic molecules. They enhance or are necessary for the action of enzymes. Coenzymes bind to the inactive apoenzyme to form the active fully formed enzyme.

Enzymes are necessary for digesting food. A deficiency of enzymes can provoke leaky gut syndrome, which can result in food allergies, autoimmune diseases and/or multiple chemical sensitivities. All of which make coenzymes all the more important.

Enzymes are prescribed in medicine to digest blood clots and blocked vessels; clean up debris around infection and trauma while speeding healing in general. Their use has been extended for infection and abscesses around catheters, valves and graphs. All of which make coenzymes all the more important.
